Indexed Tuition Plans
Our unique indexed tuition plans make our programs affordable for all parents who are working full-time. We also have a limited number of volunteer opportunities for parents who may be between jobs.
Everyone applying for tuition assistance must complete the tuition assistance form (link), and be prepared to document income and hours with pay stubs and last year’s tax returns.
Our calculations are always based on the income of two parents; we could not be so generous with our tuition assistance otherwise. However we do not want to burden hard-working single parents. Please understand that single parent applicants must verify single-parent status with custody/child support orders or other comparable documentation.
Indexed Tuition Formula for Summer School
Families earning less than $175,000 per year (before taxes and other withholdings) pay no more than 2% of combined gross income, upon documentation of full time employment from both parents.
Indexed Tuition Formula for After School Tutorials
Families earning less than $100,000 per year (again, before taxes and any other withholdings) pay an hourly sum equal to their combined hourly wages, upon documentation of full time employment from both parents, up to a maximum of $50/hour.
A single parent earning minimum wage pays $8.75 per hour.
Two parents earning minimum wage pay $17.50/hour.
Two parents earning $25/hour each pay $50/hour.
Nobody pays more than $50/hour.
